Vice President, Proposal Center
Allen Deitz is a 1994 graduate of Rutgers University, receiving a B.S. in Electrical Engineering. During his time at Rutgers, Allen was a Slade Scholar, supporting research for the VLSI CAD Research Group. Allen was named the 1994 Outstanding Engineering Scholar and received the John B. Smith Memorial Prize in Electrical Engineering.
Following graduation, Allen joined SRA International, which subsequently became CSRA and was recently acquired by General Dynamics. Allen’s professional career began as a network/systems engineer where he supported a variety of commercial and U.S. Government customers. This involved emerging cybersecurity initiatives, including serving as the technical lead and senior technical consultation on public key infrastructure (PKI), public key enablement, and smart card solutions for the Department of Defense.
Allen has served in a number of executive leadership roles throughout his career, spanning corporate growth, technical, strategic initiative, and employee development activities. As the Vice President for Workforce Optimization, Allen initially led the Cybersecurity Career Track, where he aided employees in developing their careers through the identification of new opportunities and by providing career advice. Much of Allen’s career has been focused on helping grow the company through the successful pursuit of new business opportunities, including those in the U.S. Federal cybersecurity domain. Allen currently serves as the Vice President for CSRA’s Proposal Center.
