Advisory Board Member 2018
Chief Information Security Officer
Bob is the Chief Information Security Officer for Kodak Alaris, which once was, but is no longer, part of Eastman Kodak. Bob’s first brush with Information Technology was as a student in the Electrical Engineering department at RIT when he received a sketchy email purporting to come from the White House. He switched his major to Information Technology the next day. Since then, he has served in various IT roles until, while working as a systems engineer, one of his systems got hacked. He started pursuing information security the next day.
Today, Bob is responsible for the overall security posture of Kodak Alaris, and focuses on preserving the company brand, value, and market share while allowing business functionality and innovation to proceed without undue restriction. He earned an MBA from St. John Fisher College and holds Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), and Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) credentials. Bob also teaches Computer Security as an adjunct professor at RIT, where it all began.
Bob has been married to his wife Robin for 30 years. They have two children, Megan and Henry, an adequate dog, and a wonderful cat.
