Vladislav (Vlad) Shapiro, working for more than 14 years in IGA ( Identity Governance and Administration) and IT Security, has developed several new concepts related to business advisory, including Identity Posture, Fundamental Conflict in IGA and Costidity.
Vlad Shapiro, a native of Kiev, Ukraine, pursued his undergraduate study in Kiev State and then Moscow State University. Having completed his Master’s degree at Brandeis University in the spring of 1993, he accepted teaching position at Northeastern University, but soon decided to use his mathematical knowledge and analytical abilities in the industry. During his early career, Mr.Shapiro worked on analytics in Clinical Trials, Data Visualization, Bioinformatics, CRM and data mining. He had several presentations and papers on using mathematical apparatus in resolving real-life data analysis problems. In 2004, Vlad Shapiro joined Courion Inc. as technical consultant, and since that time he is working in the field of Identity and Access Management, Governance and Administration.Mr. Shapiro is regular attendee, presenter and speaker at many industry events, including Gartner Catalyst, Gartner IDM Summit, IT Experts and others. He had worked and presented around the world, including Germany, England, Finland, Denmark, Netherlands, Ukraine, Russia, Georgia, Latvia, Lithuania, Australia and Singapore.
